Willoughby Symphony Choir
Willoughby
NSW

Willoughby Symphony Choir is widely recognised as the region's finest community choir. Our choir, with a membership of around 130 singers, exists under the auspices of Willoughby City Council and is partnered with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra with whom we perform regularly. Our repertoire comprises mainly classical works: oratorios, masses, requiems, operatic and symphonic works. As well as large-scale choral works, the Choir also performs a cappella and popular music.
The Choir is based in Willoughby and sings in venues all over the North Shore, including the world-class Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood. We also perform at community functions such as the Willoughby Spring Festival and Carols in the Park.
The Choir has performed regularly in popular music concerts at the Sydney Opera House and in 2008 conducted a successful tour of Europe.
The choir also makes regular recordings and broadcasts.
We always welcome new singers – feel free to contact us to discuss membership.
