Macquarie Singers is a not-for-profit, non-auditioned choir currently with approximately 90 members. The choir was originally formed at Macquarie University over 50 years ago. The choir is open to the wider community and welcomes new members of all ages and musical abilities. We currently rehearse every Monday night between 7-9.30pm at North Ryde Community Church. Apart from two full concerts each year, we offer some free singing workshops (face to face and via Zoom) and as part of our community engagement, we sing yearly at some aged care facilities and also community Christmas carol singing at Macquarie Hospital.
