Established in 2002, Harambee A Cappella is an auditioned community-based vocal ensemble from Melbourne, Australia, formed by a diverse group of people who all share a love of singing. The name "Harambee" (pronounced ha-rum-bay) means "in the spirit of togetherness" in Swahili. Harambee A Cappella is a not-for-profit, incorporated group.

Harambee A Cappella performs a variety of contemporary a cappella music for community events, competitions, corporate and paid performances.

In July 2024, Harambee A Cappella competed in the Open Competition at the World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand. Harambee is thrilled to announce that we received a Golden Diploma Level II and placed first in our competition category, Pop Ensembles!
