The Honeybees are a non-profit community choir established in 1996 primarily for the purpose of promoting and encouraging a cappella singing, in particular gospel music, in Australia.
Although not a religious choir, the group is united in its love of the uplifting and passionate quality of the gospel genre. We have developed a diverse repertoire of traditional and modern gospel numbers inspired by styles such as soul, R & B and jazz.
The Bees have sung at both paid and unpaid gigs including music festivals, charity events and in churches and theatres all over Australia. We have 2 major concerts a year, in June and December.
We love performing at weddings where our style of singing enhances the mood even more! Also corporate events where our enthusiasm hits the spot!
