Great Day choir is a joyous, inclusive choir for people with dementia and their community. Everyone is welcome. We sing well known songs and rounds, all accompanied by guitar. The emphasis is on having a great time singing with other people and enjoying the songs that we carry in our hearts. After singing there is a light lunch provided which is a good time to meet other people.

We meet on Fridays during school term at 11.15am at OWN, 8-10 Victoria St Newtown. There is a place for easy vehicle drop-off for those not so mobile.

The choir is run by Christina Mimmocchi and a bunch of fantastic volunteers.

There is no charge for the sessions thanks to a grant from Inner West Council.
