Sydney Harmony is a well-established men's a cappella / barbershop chorus. With members coming from many diverse backgrounds and across all age groups, the chorus has enjoyed entertaining audiences around the country for over 16 years. As a member of Barbershop Harmony Australia (BHA), Sydney Harmony regularly competes in national barbershop and other choral contests. In 2008 and 2014 we represented Australia at Pan Pacific Barbershop Harmony Conventions, held respectively in Honolulu, Hawaii and Wellington, New Zealand. Throughout the year we also have opportunities to perform at various functions and concerts for community and corporate groups. Our wide repertoire covers not only traditional barbershop but also includes jazz, pop and contemporary arrangements. Under the musical direction of vocal harmony specialist Vicki Dwyer, we have a lot of fun fine-tuning and performing this great art form. We rehearse each Monday night from 7.30pm at the Ron Dyer Centre - Cnr Miller Street and Ridge Street, North Sydney (behind St Mary's church). If you think you'd like to sing with Sydney Harmony, contact us or just come to one of our rehearsals.
