For all who love to sing - Your Voice Can Change a Child’s Life
Celebration Sing Out! is an annual massed schools and community choral and orchestral concert being held for its 33rd year. The concert raises much needed funds for Music Therapy at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, a leading children's hospital for eastern Australia and the Pacific Islands.

Flexible time-commitment
Comprehensive audio tracks, sample performances, sheet music and YouTube rehearsals are available online so your only fixed time commitment is to come for the final rehearsal to put it all together for a late afternoon performance on Sunday 26th October at Sydney Town Hall. Ideal for singers from distant and remote parts of Australia.
It's going to be a great sing, with "Zadok the Priest", "Polovtsian Dances", "Benedictus" and "Better is Peace" from The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins, and "Don't Dream It's Over: A Crowded House Medley".
The fabulous Brett Weymark OAM (Artistic Director, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs) is Patron and Guest Conductor, Mal Hewitt OAM is Artistic Director, and Warren Fisher (ex Australian Opera and Director of Choirs, Knox Grammar) is Associate Artistic Director.

Whether you are or once were in of a choir, and aged 16 to 86+ (or perhaps you sang in your school choir, at a state festival, at music camp, in a conservatorium , community or professional choir), this is a great opportunity to lift up your voice, and enjoy a great choral experience in an iconic venue, and also help kids who are very sick in hospital.
Extra for this year: 2025 will be an especially big celebration. Mal Hewitt retires as Artistic Director in this, his 80th birthday year, and after 33 years as Artistic Director. It is also the 50th Anniversary of the Music Therapy Association of Australia. So much to celebrate!

We are really looking forward to a memorable Celebration Sing Out! 2025 and hope you will be able to join us.
You can find out more and register on the website. There is no closing date, as more experienced singers can join close to the concert.
