Come and join A Cappella West for a 6 week vocal course.
You will work with the chorus to learn 3 songs in 4 part harmony, as well as receiving coaching in a small group with our director Jo, working on vocal skills and singing in the a cappella style. In week 6 of the course there will be a "graduation" concert to share your new skills with family and friends.
No previous musical experience is required. You will be provided with audio learning tracks to make learning your part easy, as well as sheet music, and you will be assisted throughout the sessions by our fun and friendly members.
Rehearsals run from 7.15pm (new participants will need to arrive early for the first session to be voice placed - this is a quick and non-threatening process to make sure the harmony part you sing is the best one for you) to approx 9.30pm on Wednesday nights, and participants are invited to stay and socialise after.
Open to women of all ages (minors to be accompanied by a responsible adult)
Cost - $90 ($15/week)
