The National Boys Choir of Australia was founded in 1964 and has established itself as one of Australia’s finest treble choirs. The Choir is made up of approximately 150 boys aged between 7 – 15 commencing with a two-year training period before moving into the Performing Choir.
Choristers are trained in the traditional classical style. Repertoire includes music ranging from early motets through to contemporary commissioned works and semi-staged children’s operas, as well as musical comedy, art songs and folk songs from around the world.
