LANE COVE CHORISTERS
A small friendly choir of senior ladies. Singing keeps us ‘young’ and gives us pleasure as we bring joy and entertainment to other seniors in our community at aged care and dementia facilities, hospitals, retirement villages and Council events.
We welcome any senior lady (over 55yrs) who likes to sing – no audition needed. We need new members, especially altos! Rehearsals and concerts are held in daytime, always preferred by seniors. We rehearse every Tuesday 1.00pm – 3.30pm, in Lane Cove, Sydney.
Our repertoire ranges from classical to modern, folk, spirituals, musicals and golden oldies, with comedy and audience participation too. Our volunteer conductor and accompanist are both experienced professionals.
