Derived in 2003 from a Brimbank Council musical theatre project called, BELONGing, the Choir is ever growing in numbers and continues to entertain not only in Brimbank, but all around Melbourne. The Choir sings in languages such as: Maltese, Italian, German, Filipino, South and West African to name a few. The Choir perfoms at official Council events, Brimbank Festival, nursing homes, retirement villages and other festivals around Melbourne. BMCC are also regulars at 'Last Night of the Proms' in Williamstown each year in August, The Western Suburbs Choirs Festival in July and also at the Federation Square Community Choir's Programme. The Brimbank Multicultural Community Choir is lead by Veronica Gauci who is a local musician and vocalist. She currently teaches Primary School music and runs a number of Choir's in the West.
